July 12 - 16 Life on the Farm in the 1800's Learn how the farm family survived and thrived by being creative and industrious. Try your hand at gardening, cooking, working with wax and wool, and playing games like they did in the old days. Session held Mon. to Fri. 9am -12. Tuition: $150. Age range: 7-14 years old.
July 19 - 23 We Love Rabbits, Local rabbit breeder, Gina Farnan, will teach rabbit care and showmanship. Each child will be given his or her own rabbit to be responsible for during the week of the class. Children will learn to care for their rabbits, find out all about rabbits both wild and domestic, as well as learn the techniques of animal showmanship. On the last day we will hold a country-fair-style Rabbit Show complete with judges! Children will be awarded prizes and ribbons. Session held Mon. to Fri. 9am-12. Tuition: $150. Age range 6-12 (Class size limited to 12, a second session 2-5pm will be offered if class size is exceeded).
Aug. 9 - 13 Primitive Skills, Nature & You, Survival wilderness style! Experienced naturalist Vince Walsh of Kawing Crow Awareness Center will have you tracking, building shelters, throwing spears and more, as he helps to cultivate respect for nature and self through the use of primitive skills and teachings. Session held Mon. to Fri. 9am to 4pm Tuition: $300. Age range: 7-14 years old.

Barn School Policies
Payment - Full payment must accompany the enrollment application. Once payment has been received, cancellation of the session must be submitted in writing two weeks before the start of the session for a refund minus a $10.00 processing fee. If the student withdraws less than two weeks before the start of the session, a credit, (but no refund), will be given minus a $10.00 processing fee.
Sibling Discount - For the sibling discount; pay the full amount for the registrant with the highest tuition, and then deduct 20% from the tuition of each additional brother or sister. If you wish to take advantage of the sibling discount, you MUST do so at the time of the initial registration.
Enrollment Forms - Please print out and complete the medical release forms and mail with the enrollment and payment. Upon receipt, a confirmation letter and receipt for tax purposes will be sent to you. The release forms must be on file before the beginning of the session.
Weather - The weather here is unpredictable, in the event of rainy weather; students will be engaged in indoor activities. We cannot give refunds due to weather.
Canceled Classes - We do not like to cancel any sessions; however, each session must be self-supporting. We have established a minimum enrollment and will need to cancel any sessions that do not meet this minimum. If we must cancel your chosen session, we will contact you regarding other available sessions. There will be no processing fees involved in changing sessions or canceling enrollment.
E-mail reminders - If an e-mail address has been provided, a reminder will be sent out one week before camp. At that time, any outstanding medical forms will also be requested.
